What a wonderful Wisconsin weekend

What a great weekend!  It was sunny and mild and the fall colors were reaching their peak.  You couldn’t ask for a better fall weekend.

But wait, it was much better than that!  Did you happen to catch the sports?  On Saturday, in one of the greatest and certainly one of the most hyped college games in many years, the Badgers demolished the surprisingly wimpy Nebraska Cornhuskers by an unbelievable score of 41-17.  Earlier in the day the Milwaukee Brewers won the opening game of the National League Division Series against Arizona by a score of 4-1.  On Sunday, the Brewers won the second game of the NLDS by 9-4 at about the same time as the Green Bay Packers were chewing up and spitting out the Denver Ponies, uh, I mean Broncos.  That final score was 49-23.

Unfortunately, we can only bask in the glow of these victories for a short while since more contests are coming up for all of these great Wisconsin teams.
